Even before this historic shutdown, the federal government had walked back critical commitments to compassion and aid. Despite these challenges, we remain optimistic about our capacity and our community of investors, organizations, and ecosystem partners.

Candide Group is seeking a Director of Business Development & Partnerships to lead fundraising and client acquisition as we grow our community of investors moving capital toward justice. This is a key leadership role focused on expanding relationships with families, foundations, and institutions aligned with Candide’s mission, while shaping our marketing and communications strategy to strengthen the impact investing field at large.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead fundraising and client acquisition across Candide’s advisory and investment vehicles.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with family offices, foundations, and institutional investors.
• Design and implement multi-year business development and partnership plans.
• Partner with communications to develop messaging, materials, and visibility strategies.
• Represent Candide at events and in media to expand reach and thought leadership.
  

Key Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in fundraising, partnership building, or business development within investment management, wealth advisory, or private funds.
• Proven track record of raising capital from private and institutional investors.
• Strong strategic communications and marketing experience.
• Deep familiarity with impact investing, preferably across Candide’s four verticals: Home & Place, Diverse Allocators & Entrepreneurs, Climate Justice, and Employee Empowerment.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills, integrity, and commitment to social justice.
