The Mountain Lion is Palomar’s apex predator. Join us for an
interpretive discussion about the life history of mountain lions, the
challenges they face with increased human development, and learn ways to live amongst these magnificent cats while ensuring both your safety and theirs.

Guided Hike: Doane Valley Nature Trail

The habitats that are traversed by the Doane Valley Nature Trail are
home to a wide variety of plants and animals. Join Park Interpretive Specialist Will Meyst for a guided hike along this staple trail of Palomar Mountain State Park.
