Avalanche! Overwhelming Bill
Introductions at Deadlines
The 2019 MACo legislative session just jumped into high gear, with hundreds and hundreds of new bills introduced in both the Senate and the House. The next few weeks will be very busy for legislative committees, as they host a public hearing on each bill with one eye on the March 18 “crossover” deadline for their action. MACo’s Legislative Committee will also work through these long lists of new bills, to guide county views and perspectives on the many pending proposals.
