Three Major Saint Paul Redevelopment Opportunities



Mayor Chris Coleman and senior public official Bruce Thompson, of Ramsey County Property Management, will speak about three spotlight economic development opportunities in Saint Paul:
  • Proposed redevelopment at Snelling-Midway, including a Major League Soccer stadium
  • The former Ford Site
  • Ramsey County Riverfront Property
Attendees will learn about the real estate potential at these three regionally important sites located right in the Capital City.  Featuring Mayor Chris Coleman and Bruce Thompson, Ramsey County Property Management, this program is presented by CoreNet (Corporate Real Estate Network).

Sunrise Banks' Como Ave location is hosting its annual 
Community Appreciation BBQ. The event will take place 
Thursday, August 4, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at

Ryder Cup volunteers needed for Winter Carnival!
The Ryder Cup is coming to Hazeltine National Golf Club September 27-October 2, 2016. The Saint Paul Festival & Heritage Foundation has an exciting fundraising opportunity through the Ryder Cup and are seeking volunteers to help run the concession stand located near the 4th hole green.

Numerous volunteers are needed to fill various positions including: grillers, food prep, expediters, runners, stockers and cashiers. Positions will be assigned the day of; however, if you have a preference please list desired position in the "comments section."

Volunteers are permitted to watch the Ryder Cup before or after their scheduled shift!

Volunteers receive:
  • FREE admission to the tournament (watch golf before or after your shift)
  • FREE parking for the tournament
  • FREE lunch for the shift worked
  • A GREAT experience at a sold out event
  • Fun working with Winter Carnival and Cinco de Mayo volunteers

Winners of the Lunch with the Mayor prize at the Annual Celebration met last week with Mayor Coleman to network, talk about Saint Paul and get to know the mayor. Thank you to John Bennett and Western Bank for the auction item!

Repeat champs Midway Express Car Wash receive trophy

Bill Treacy receives first place trophy
For the second straight year, Midway Express Car Wash is the recipient of the Midway on the Fairway golf trophy after taking first place on a tiebreaker with a team from Warners' Stellian. Winning team players were Matt Bruun, Jim Cummings, Dean Godes and Bill Treacy. Visible on Snelling Avenue, Midway Express Car Wash is located at 1610 Energy Park Drive and offers free access to vacuums with every car wash.
