On March 5th Avisery launched The Intersection, an advocacy blog that will provide a space for delving into policy discussion on the intersection of affordability and accessibility of health care for older adults and adults with disabilities. Readers of this blog can expect to access to resources and information on future changes to healthcare programs as they are being determined.

The first topic we are focusing on is the 2026 transition from the Medicare-Medicaid Alignment Initiative (MMAI) to Medicare Advantage Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs). Read our first post here.
