After Thanksgiving dinner while cleaning up your holiday meal, remember to keep Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) out of your drain. FOG hardens on pipes causing clogs and overflows which are harmful to the environment. Remember to:
Trash The Grease. After the turkey’s done and the gravy’s gone, pour your drippings or oily leftovers into a sealed container and place it in your trash. Keep grease out of your drain!
Wipe Before Washing. Before rinsing dirty dishes, wipe them off with a paper towel to remove any leftover grease, then place towel in the trash.
Go Easy On The Disposal. Use the disposal to clear standing water in your sink, not to grind food bits!
