Like every year, the 2018 Symposium is bringing you the writers of an exceptional book, ‘What’s your digital business model?’. Peter Weill and Stephanie Woerner have done a wonderful job of laying out the pillars of a digital business. We invite you to the fireside chat and have a face-to-face interaction with the authors!
Based on five years of study at the MIT Center for Information Systems Research, the book provides a powerful yet simple framework that has been field-tested globally with more than a dozen senior management teams. In the words of the authors, digitization is moving companies' business models on two dimensions: from value chains to digital ecosystems, and from a fuzzy understanding of the needs of end customers to a sharper one. The book touches on various aspects of the growing challenge to "go digital”.

The Fireside Chat will be moderated by Wolfgang Bauriedel .
