The FSRA Licensing Link is now open for licence renewal. As Principal Broker, it is your responsibility to ensure that you and all of your brokers and agents renew their licences, no later than
March 31, 2020
What you need to know
If you don’t renew your licence by March 31, 2020 and there is no other active licensed broker in your brokerage,
all licences in your brokerages will be suspended.
In addition, anyone who has not renewed their licence by March 31, 2020 deadline, including
you or your brokers and/or agents,
will no longer be able to conduct mortgage brokering activities in Ontario past that date.
The fee for mortgage brokers and agents to renew their licence is now $841, as per
FSRA’s Fee Rule
And remember, all of the brokers and agents at your brokerage,
, must complete their approved
continuing education course
before renewing their licence.
Take action now
- Follow up with your agents and brokers immediately to make sure they have enrolled in an approved CE course so they can renew their licence.
- Renew your licence.
- Encourage your agents and brokers to renew their licence via Licensing Link by the March 31, 2020 deadline.
