It is with deep sadness that we share that Ms. Lee A. Weigle joined the Church Triumphant Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Lee, 98 years old, joined Avondale church in 1989. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at Avondale on Monday, March 9 at 11 AM.

 In your hands, O Lord,
we humbly entrust

COVID-19 Statement
While there are currently no reported or suspected cases of COVID-19 in Charlotte, we are making a number of preparations to help foster the health and safety of the Avondale community. In response to the growing concern we will, beginning this Sunday, ask that you consider alternative options other than shaking or holding hands when passing of the peace and during the benediction. Hand sanitizer will be available at both welcome tables.
