WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY
This Sunday, Sept 1:
We encourage you to read Scripture this week and discuss in your homes what God's word to us might be from this passage:
Scripture: John 17:20-26 read
Message: "The Unity of God"
Life with others can be hard. Living in community with other people is a reflection of the nature of God and the deepest hope that Jesus had for his followers.
Preaching: Rev. Jim Ewing

CELEBRATING 75 YEARS
"Avondale, Did You Know?"
More Beautiful Art in Avondale Office
The wall hanging in the lobby with the lamb was given by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dunlap in memory of their daughter Julie Dunlap Scism. An artist in Asheville made it. Scott Coble made the wood frame especially for it. We have used it in the past for baptisms in the Sanctuary.
