It is with deep sadness that we share that Mr. Borden "Bordie" McCloskey joined the Church Triumphant Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Bordie was a well loved and faithful member of Avondale for over 40 years! Due to our current circumstances concerning the pandemic, a celebration of life is postponed and arrangements will be shared at a later date. obituary

The Confirmation class of 2020 has been diving deep into the tenants of our faith, meeting with Reverend Jim and also each with their mentors on this journey of discovery and growth. We will look forward to celebrating with them when we can all worship together in person.
