WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY
This Sunday, Sept 8:
We encourage you to read Scripture this week and discuss in your homes what God's word to us might be from this passage:
Scripture: Ephesians 2:11-22   read
Message: "When the Wall Comes Down"
Our backgrounds and past bring so many different assumptions and understandings of how the world works. These differences can easily lead to a lack of community, loneliness and even conflict.
Preaching: Rev. Jim Ewing

More Beautiful Art in Avondale Office
The wall hanging in the lobby with the lamb was given by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dunlap in memory of their daughter Julie Dunlap Scism. An artist in Asheville made it. Scott Coble made the wood frame especially for it. We have used it in the past for baptisms in the Sanctuary.
