Message from Avondale
Many at Avondale and in the community have been impacted by the news of Max Shanks. In moments like this the church can share a message of love, light, and hope. As you pray for the Shanks family, please know:

A service of Celebration and Witness to the Resurrection for Max will be at a later date. Until then, we appreciate the need to gather in love and support as we offer encouragement and hope to one another.

Our Worship team will be offering a Taizé service in the Avondale Sanctuary, Thursday night, July 14 at 7:00 PM. 

The Sacred Garden is open and always available as a place of peace and solace for those looking to pray. 

This Sunday, come early to visit the garden and stay late to fellowship at the Congregational Meal.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news that John Maxwell “Max” Shanks, 7, the eldest son of Corey and Jessica Shanks and brother of Griffin, joined the Church Triumphant Sunday, July 10, 2022.
We will continue to inform you as arrangements are made. Until then, please join us in keeping Jessica, Corey, Griffin
and the entire Shanks family and friends in your prayers.

Congregational Meal
Congregational Meal - Come and bring a dish to share!
In honor of our guests this Sunday, we will have a congregational meal following the worship service. Salad, bread and drinks will be provided. We invite the congregation to bring a pasta covered dish to the lunch.
We look forward to gathering in fellowship!

A-F - Spaghetti or spaghetti with meatballs
G-K - Lasagna, veggie or meat
L-P - Ravioli or ziti
R-Z - Dessert
Or bring your favorite pasta dish!
Please drop-off your ready-to-eat dishes and desserts in the FLC kitchen prior to the service. Thank you!
