Dear Beloved Community,
We want to clarify a small error in yesterday's newsletter regarding our Sunday service. The correct time for this week's service is 12pm, not 11am. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused, and we look forward to gathering in spirit and community with you this Sunday.

Child & Youth Services
11:10 AM - 1:10 PM
This Sunday's Youth Teacher: Jacqueline Carrillo
We have a wonderful child and family team who are eager to provide services for children (ages 2-12) each Sunday. You can drop your child off and have time to attend the meditation before the Sunday service. We are not equipped to provide infant services at this time, but we will happily find a quiet space for little ones and their caregiver.

Join us for The Practice on July 6th!
Facilitators: Practitioners Dale Rogers & Tonya Miller-Hire
Time & Location: Meditation Room at 1:30pm
The Practice is a sacred space to explore, reflect, and apply spiritual principles to everyday life. It offers a safe and supportive circle where participants can share personal challenges, release what no longer serves them, and discover practical steps for moving forward. Guided by CSL practitioners, this gathering emphasizes deep listening, heartfelt conversations, and the transformative power of living Science of Mind principles. It’s a space for renewal, clarity, and connection—where Spirit meets real-life situations, and practice becomes progress. The Practice is an opportunity to experience the profound growth that comes from engaging in a sacred and intentional community.
| | If this appeals to you, please plan to attend our second meeting on Sunday, July 20 after the service when we will discuss upcoming topics and how we’ll approach them. Some of these topics could be: Relationships, Unconditional Love, Communication, Health (in mind and body), Creativity, Aging, Death & Dying, Abundance, and more. Bring your own ideas about what you’d like to talk about. | |
Spiritual Mind Treatment
Laura Landress RScP
Let's start with a calming technique: I breathe in calm and I breathe out ease. I breathe in calm and I breathe out ease:
I know there is one, infinite intelligence, all-powerful and all-encompassing mind and life of God. It is all good and everything I do, say or think is governed by this Divine Wisdom within me. I am forever a part of the living Spirit. The creative power of God indwells me and acts through me. This word which I now declare is the law of perfect action. The full action of Infinite Mind now moves through my consciousness and accomplishes the desires of my heart. In me, God is my health, peace, love and self-expression. In my world, God is order, harmony and ever-expanding good. I recognize myself as the inlet and outlet of God, the one eternal Mind. I choose my thoughts wisely and I am so thankful for God's unconditional love. I release this my word knowing it is true right now, And So It Is.

CARING HEARTS
Caring Hearts' Mission is to support CSLN members with compassionate visits, phone calls, and essential community services during times of need. More information regarding the Caring Hearts can be found on our website.
| | |
Food Gift Boxes Available
Some of our members have been seriously affected by rising food prices. To assist, the Caring Hearts would like to discreetly provide a food gift box to anyone who may be having difficulty with these increased costs. If you'd like to contribute, a donation basket can be found in the lobby before the service to accept non-perishable items, cash, or grocery gift cards (which can also be placed in the donation basket). If you could use support right now, please reach out to Erica Leeds at caringhearts@cslnashville.org. We’re here for you.
| | |
Requesting Gift Cards
Caring Hearts is now asking for food gift cards as well as any additional gift cards that you are ready to pay forward to others in our community. Easy options are placing them in the Sunday collection baskets at the end of service each week or in the basket in the lobby that will be by the front door where we are collecting non perishable food during service only. For additional information, please contact Caring Hearts team members.
