  • Steve Snell Educational Excellence Scholarship:
  • Steve Snell served as the Association Executive of the REALTORS® Association of York & Adams Counties from 1985 to 2015. During his 30 years of service, Mr. Snell was known for his dedication to REALTOR® professionalism, leadership, and education. He continues to promote the value and importance of education through the Steve Snell Educational Excellence Scholarship, which awards $500 annually to a RAYAC member to use for designation or broker pre-licensure courses.   • Criteria: Must be a RAYAC member for 3 consecutive years.

  • Community Service Award:
  • This award is based on the outstanding contributions of a Realtor® to his/her local community, as well as being an active member of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties. Click HERE for the application.
  • Criteria:  A member of good standing of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties for a minimum of 3 years with current, active involvement at the local, state and national level. Recognized leader in some endeavor in the community. Nominees should have contributed to a program that improves the livability of a local community. Those activities aren’t limited to real estate or housing issues, and may include such things as crime prevention, youth mentoring, and homelessness prevention. Some portion of the nominee’s community work must have taken place between January and October of the current calendar year, but judges will also consider ongoing efforts outside that time frame.

  • Realtor® of the Year: 
  • This award is given annually to a Realtor® who has made outstanding contributions to the industry through involvement at the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties and expended efforts to enhance the interest of their fellow Realtors®, their profession and the real estate community at large.
  • Criteria:  A member of good standing of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties for a minimum of 3 years. Participation in RAYAC activities. A member who demonstrates high ethical conduct in professional dealings. Past Realtor® of the Year recipients are ineligible.

  • Affiliate Appreciation Award:  
  • The Affiliate Appreciation Award is given to an Affiliate member of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties that has shown great enthusiasm and leadership for the association. The award recipient is someone that has gone above and beyond the normal role as an Affiliate member to support and promote the real estate industry and the Realtors®.
  • Criteria:  An affiliate member in good standing of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties for a minimum of 1 year. Participation in RAYAC activities in the past 12 months. Financially supported Association functions in the past 12 months. Other significant contributions to the profession or community.

  • Young Professional of the Year: 
  • The Young Professional of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding young Realtor® who is a well-rounded member of the community and actively engaged in RAYAC activities.
  • Criteria: Must be an active member of the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties who is aged 40 or under between the dates of November 1st of last year and October 31st of the current calendar year.
