AWARD FOR YOUR 9/11 LESSON

The 9/11 Tribute Center annually presents awards to help sustain the memory of September 11th. Innovative teachers are honored for how they have engaged their students in the discussion of the ongoing impact of September 11th and for their focus on humanitarian responses to 9/11. Projects selected have introduced 9/11 through social studies and language or visual arts. Each school receives a financial gift of $500. and a framed Certificate of Merit that is presented during a formal ceremony. Nominate your project or lesson plan. 

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATION 

IS JAN 27

Email a brief description of lesson/project, examples of resources used, include reflections on the experience. Include your name, school name and address, grade(s) involved in project, and number of class periods used for this project. Email submission education@tributewtc.org.
