RAI ITALIA'S AWARD-WINNING

DOCUMENTARY SERIES: THE HUMAN FACTOR

PREVIEWS, UNDER THE UNIFORM

FEATURING MRFF'S MIKEY WEINSTEIN

Rai Italia operates a television network that broadcasts around the world. The total audience is over 120 million.

Under The Uniform does not ask whether faith belongs in military life. It asks what happens when one faith begins to define loyalty, authority and who is allowed to serve.

Under The Uniform: Written and Directed by

Documentary Filmmaker Luigi Montebello

Luigi Montebello has directed several films in the United States exploring complex and often invisible human realities — including the death penalty seen through the eyes of executioners, as well as gentrification, homelessness, and systemic inequality.

As part of the award-winning documentary series The Human Factor, this new documentary, Under The Uniform, focuses on the right to dissent within highly structured environments such as the military.

The full length english international version of Under The Uniform will be out in October of 2026.
