HBO's 'The Gilded Age'
Westchester County has a starring role in the new HBO historical drama, "The Gilded Age." The production recreated 1880s New York City across Westchester at locations including Lyndhurst Mansion and The Belvedere Estate in Tarrytown, the Edith Macy Center and Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Briarcliff Manor, Glenview Historic Home at the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers, and Pace University in Pleasantville. Westchester Locations Featured in 'Succession'
When seeking locations that would stand in for airports in Virginia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Scott Ferguson, executive producer of the award-winning HBO series, Succession, turned to Westchester. “Sometimes you want to tell a story set in New York and somewhere else. Westchester is one of the first places I look for a convincing ‘somewhere else.’
