Celebrating 20 Years!

Awards, Opportunities, and More!

Hello KCS friends and family!

A few weeks ago, we welcomed students and staff back for our 21st year of service. It’s great to see everyone refreshed and ready for the opportunities the new school year brings, some of them highlighted in this month’s eNewsletter. Over the coming months, we’ll share more about our programs and activities that make KCS unique and the school of choice for our families and students. We look forward to sharing these stories with you.

Thank you,

Brad Sellner, Executive Director

Back to School

On September 3, KCS welcomed 493 students back to the classrooms for our first day of school. Welcome students and staff. We’re looking forward to another great year of learning!

20-year Milestone Award

On Sept. 26, Kaleidoscope Charter School (KCS) was recognized for 20 years of service at the Minnesota Association of Charter Schools (MACS) annual meeting. The Milestone Award recognizes service in educating children.

“Our staff is dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. We’ve been fortunate to have educators who bring energy and excitement to their classrooms,” reflected KCS Executive Director, Brad Sellner. Sellner also recognized the role of parents in student success. “Our parents are actively engaged in their children’s education and show up in classrooms and special events to show their support of their students and our school.”

Opportunities to Try Something New at KCS

by Allison Jepson, Dean of Students/Activities Director

Students have a voice at KCS! We offer a diverse range of activities, providing students with ample opportunities to explore their interests and develop new skills. Student voice activities are unique in that they are created based on student interest and research. This allows students to take the initiative and delve deeper into topics, hobbies, or sports they are passionate about.

By offering a wide variety of activities and encouraging student-led initiatives, Kaleidoscope Charter School promotes a well-rounded educational experience, helping students to develop both academically and personally.
