April 2018
Meet the 2018 Entrepreneurs of Excellence!
This year, seven Entrepreneurs of Excellence have made a lasting impact on the community and are being recognized. During the annual luncheon, one will be named Muskegon's 2018 Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year!

Please help us celebrate the 2018 Entrepreneurs of Excellence:

These awardees were chosen by a committee of past Entrepreneur Award winners. Their entrepreneurial stories will be shared at the luncheon where Scott Erdman, Owner of Erdman Machine Co., will speak about his journey to success and will offer some insights on how to grow a business in Muskegon County.

Expect Biggest Show Yet!
Your Chamber’s largest event, The Lakeshore Art Festival, continues to get bigger each year.

This year, a record number of nearly 450 exhibitors applied for the festival which exceeds our previous record by 122 exhibitors.

“The Lakeshore Art Festival has been getting national attention since its inaugural year in 2013 and the results are showing in record exhibitor numbers, enhanced quality of work and increased guest attendance,” says Carla Flanders, Lakeshore Art Festival Director.

In addition to the exceptional level of artistry and entertainment, the Lakeshore Art Festival will offer two new artful components: The Door Project and The Kayak Sculpture Public Art Project.

The Lakeshore Art Festival is always the first Friday and Saturday in July and will take place July 6 and 7, 2018. Click here to learn more.

Hist-o-gram Stories: 1908
Your Chamber hosted the first meeting about the development of the  Muskegon Country Club. The goal was to create a vehicle to attract investors to the lakeshore.

The Muskegon Country Club, founded in 1908, is situated on 130 acres of dunes and overlooking Muskegon Lake. It is still used today for entertaining potential clients, investors, and talent.

Each month, we will be recognizing a historic moment of the Chamber's history in what we are calling "Hist-o-gram Stories". Visit our Facebook and Instagram page for our monthly Hist-o-gram Stories!
