UMAPP's Award Winners - 2019
Hall of Fame Winner
Melinda Marr of iClick, has been a volunteer for UMAPP since 2005 and has held notable positions such as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, President, chair of the Idea Showcase (formerly Holiday Showcase), Marketing Committee, and Room Show. Melinda also serves as a mentor to many and her wisdom and expertise are valued traits.

The Hall of Fame Award is given to a person who has achieved outstanding honors within UMAPP for their contributions to the industry and to the Association.
Lifetime Achievement
Virginia Lemmer of Maple Ridge Farms began her career in May of 1987 as an office assistant, and moved her way up to customer service representative and her current position, National Account Manager.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is for individuals who have made a significant impact in the industry.
UMAPP Volunteer of the Year
Sabrina Franz, SnugZ USA, began her career in the industry just a year and a half ago, but she has made a big impact on UMAPP as the Association's first Social Media Coordinator.

The Volunteer of the Year Award is for current UMAPP volunteers who have shown an outstanding ability to take on tasks and make a difference.
Super Star Award
Michelle Gunderson is the order processing manager for Fields Manufacturing. She has been with the company for 23 years! Recently, she has spent hundreds of hours of leading the transition from their very basic order management system to a full blown ERP system to meet growing needs as a business today.

The Super Star Award is to recognize a person within their company who has proven to be invaluable and consistently goes above and beyond what is expected. These people are often invisible to the industry outside of the company and UMAPP would like to give member companies an opportunity to show support for these heros.
Advance Corporation
It is support of our members that makes this Association stable and successful. Advance Corporation has been generous for a number of years in donating all of our awards, making each one custom and from their own plant in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. Many thanks, also, to Rena Ashfeld, for her expertise and creativity in developing the design of these awards and overseeing their production.
UMAPP is a professional trade association for companies in the promotional products industry.

Membership is by company, but all staff are included under the umbrella of the one company membership.
