High School Seniors can get FREE Spring Training tickets for completing their FAFSA!

The Arizona Cactus League and the Arizona FAFSA Coalition have partnered to celebrate Arizona’s high school seniors who have completed the FAFSA by giving the first 750 Arizona High School seniors who complete this form and meet all promotion rules and guidelines four Spring Training tickets to a game of their choice between Feb. 24 through March 11! 100 Yards of Education: A STEM Playbook for Youth

Earlier this month more than 1,000 local middle schoolers rushed the field at Statefarm Stadium to learn about the importance of education at 100 Yards of Education: A STEM Playbook for Youth. The event — which was hosted by Education Forward Arizona, Freeport-McMoRan and the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee — started with an inspiring speech from Larry Fitzgerald, former receiver for Arizona Cardinals, about the importance of working hard for your dreams. Afterward, the students spent the day meeting with organizers from nearly 20 groups to learn more about and experience science, technology, engineering, arts and math as it relates to sports and future careers. The day ended with a performance from StuntMasters, who taught the kids about physics through bike and scooter stunts.

New College Access Professional (CAP) courses announced!

Our CAP trainings are back and redesigned to be better than ever! Each five-week course allows you to earn recertification hours with Arizona-specific content, online discussions with peers and assignments that culminate in an action plan to help you contribute to the college-going culture at your school or organization. Scholarships for CAP courses are available thanks to the generous support of the Arizona Department of Education. Simply register for a class to apply. Download the current 2023 course schedule here. Education Forward Arizona Scholarship

The Education Forward Arizona Scholarship is now accepting applications! Every year, Education Forward Arizona awards students up to $6,000 per year (renewable for four years) for their educational expenses.   In addition to the scholarships, students receive specialized support services from an Education Forward Arizona Success Adviser. To qualify, students must live in Arizona, be a high school senior, have a 3.0 cumulative GPA and be a member of an Education Forward Arizona college access partner program. The deadline to apply is March 10, 2023.

Wild Out Counselor Wednesday!

The last Wild Out Counselor Wednesday for the 2022-23 season will be on Feb. 15 at 11:00 a.m.! This one-hour session will have special speakers from Arizona community colleges who will discuss assessment prep and dual enrollment & college courses.
