College Knowing & Going (CKG), which is focused on increasing the number of students who complete steps toward a postsecondary education, had 31 student ambassadors graduate from high school earlier this year.

CKG mobilized these influential students to inspire their peers to pursue higher education by helping with the college-going process. Now they've started college themselves!

Arizona voters care about the issues that will matter most to helping students succeed. But are these the issues that are talked about during the election season? Education Forward Arizona is creating an open sign on letter from Arizona voters asking candidates to prioritize these important education issues. They are hoping that hundreds of Arizonans sign on to this letter that will be shared with candidates later this month.

Our CAP trainings are back and redesigned to be better than ever! Each five-week course allows you to earn recertification hours with Arizona-specific content, online discussions with peers and assignments that culminate in an action plan to help you contribute to the college-going culture at your school or organization.

With this academic year lining up to be the closest to our old definition of "normal" since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, it could be daunting thinking about preparing seniors for graduation and what comes after it. But NCAN is there to help everyone involved in college and career readiness prepare for the potential hurdles.

NCAN has a college and career readiness calendar that K-12 districts, schools and partners can use to plan and find resources to best facilitate their work. This interactive calendar begins with the summer before senior year and goes all the way until the summer after graduation. It is also broken down into categories like data, financial aid/FAFSA, summer melt and more.

If you want to be part of making significant changes that benefit all Arizona students, then Education Forward Arizona is the place to do it. A career here is one that gives back every day. It’s a place where you can watch your passion for education and Arizona’s future grow and make a real impact for all students.
