Guide Portfolio
Get to Know Amity Collins!
Amity Collins has been working for AzRA since 2014, and guided on the Colorado River for years with another company before joining us. You'll find her on all of our adventures, from the motor trips to our all-paddle adventures. She's often trip-leading, but also enjoys being a paddle captain or regular ol' row guide.

In the off-season, she substitute teaches in Flagstaff, and spends as much time outdoors as she possibly can.

Read more about Amity here , to find out what her favorite rapid and hikes are, and to see some great photos of her rowing through Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon Birding Tips
A blog by Sharon Hester
We have quite a few guests each year travel with us who are interested in birding while on their rafting adventure. As birds are the most common wildlife you'll see in Grand Canyon, we thought we'd share some birding tips with you.

To read more (and to hear the various calls) of the canyon wren, rock wren, ash throated flycatcher, spotted sandpiper and red-tailed hawk, be sure to r ead more here .

2019 Reservations Update
Interested in rafting with us next year? You may want to contact us soon! We're already 92% reserved for next year. Don't let that discourage you, though. We still have space next summer, and we'd love to get you into that beautiful Grand Canyon to explore the place we love.

If you're interested in putting a charter together, we have had a couple April charter dates open up on both motor and non-motor . Contact us ASAP to reserve your charter next year!

We have very few spaces available this year, but we do have some Lower Canyon Classic Adventure spots this July, and one or two spaces here and there throughout the season on our other adventures. If you're flexible on your time this year, and would like to get in the Canyon, give us a call at 800-786-7238!
