AZUSA CELEBRATES GOLDEN DAYS
Since its inception in 1949, the Azusa Golden Days has been celebrating the rich history of Azusa with a week-long activities sponsored by civic and business organizations and culminating with cultural festival and the much anticipated parade and carnival. Now on its 70th year, the event is designed to promote the community, honor its citizens, and bring everyone to celebrate Azusa. This year's theme "The Golden Heart of Azusa" was picked by the 5th grade class from Mountain View Elementary School. The winning theme was selected by the Golden Days Committee from among 62 total entries in the Azusa Unified School District.
