AZUSA'S SB 1383 COMPLIANCE

Let's work together to meet our recycling goals!

The City of Azusa is dedicated to sustainability and reminds everyone of the importance of following California’s SB 1383 regulations, which aim to reduce organic waste in landfills. Please use the green “organics” bin for your food scraps and other compostable materials. Working together helps reduce pollution caused by organic waste and keeps our community clean.

California requires cities to implement additional measures to ensure compliance with SB 1383’s organics recycling rules. Athens Services, your trusted waste collection and recycling provider, is available to help residents and businesses meet these requirements. Everyone's participation is crucial in reaching the City’s recycling and waste reduction goals to avoid any future penalties from the State.

For more information or if you need assistance with the organics collection program, contact the Athens Services Customer Care Center at (888) 336-6100 or visit AthensServices.com/Food. Let’s continue to do our part to help the City of Azusa meet SB 1383 requirements and make a positive impact on our environment.
