Azzurri Storm Joins ECNL Regional League
Azzurri Storm Soccer Club has taken a step forward yet again. Beginning Fall 2022, the club will offer Boys ECNL Regional (ECNL-RL) division teams. ECNL-RL teams U13 and up will participate in playoffs and showcase events, plus home and away games (less travel), on-site trainers, high level officials, and the prestige of playing in one of the nation’s top leagues.
Azzurri Storm invested heavily in expanding roles and are bringing in more coaches with high-level experience – coaching announcements are coming soon.
"As a player-centered club, Azzurri offers many leagues for our expanding pools of talent. Our teams have been competing in EDP, DPL, NPL, FSPL, Sunshine, and PRO, as well as local leagues. We are very excited to announce that we now have ECNL-R as another top league in competition for our boys, says Carrie and Akram Molaka, Directors of Coaching. ECNL has become one of the top leagues in the country and this will offer another pathway for our players striving to get to the collegiate and professional levels. All of our coaches and staff are looking forward to the opportunities ECNL-R will provide for our players."
The ECNL – Regional Leagues are part of the Elite Clubs National League competition pyramid. The Regional Leagues are a development platform for clubs that fuel the continued holistic development of players and provide a proving ground for future competitive opportunities for teams and clubs.
