COVID-19 vaccines for children 6 months to 4 years old have been approved and appointments are available! Vaccinating children will help protect them from getting COVID-19 and therefore reduce their risk of severe disease, hospitalizations, or developing long-term COVID-19 complications. Learn more about the recommendation here. Talk to your pediatrician or find additional pediatric vaccine providers at Broomfield.org/COVIDVaccine
Broomfield is in Level "High"

Broomfield is still in level “high” on the CDC’s COVID-19 Community Levels. There are additional steps Broomfielders should take to keep themselves healthy and limit the strain on healthcare systems:

  • Stay up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccines.
  • Wear a mask indoors in public.
  • Get tested if you have symptoms and follow quarantine and isolation guidance.

Additional precautions may be needed for people at high risk for severe illness. Learn more about level “high” and safety recommendations at Broomfield.org/COVID.

COVID-19 Testing

Have COVID-19 symptoms but your at-home test is negative? Consider getting a PCR test to confirm. Find convenient testing locations at Broomfield.org/COVIDTesting.

Mosquitoes in surrounding areas have tested positive for West Nile Virus. Protect yourself this summer using the 4 D's:

💧 Drain standing water.
👖 Dress in long sleeves and pants to keep mosquitoes from biting.
🌄 Dusk and dawn are when mosquitoes that carry the virus are most active, so limit outdoor activities or take precautions to prevent mosquito bites.
