National Night Out - Picnic in the Park 
Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Broomfield County Commons. There will be interactive learning stations, all-hazard preparedness education centers, a demonstration by North Metro Fire Rescue showing extrication from a crashed car, a police K-9 demonstration, and an interactive SWAT display. Read more.

The Bay Aquatic Park
If you haven't been to The Bay in awhile, check it out! It's a great place to take the kids and yourself for a relaxing and fun day to beat the heat! Great fun at a very reasonable price. Don't forget, Friday nights from 4 to 8 p.m. is Family Night! Read more.

Depot Museum Speaker Series
Thursdays, Aug. 1, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Broomfield Grange - "In The Footsteps of the Iron Horse: The Influence of Railroads."  Free!  

Broomfield Days
Mark your Calendar! Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20 and 21 , 2019 Bingo, golf tournament, and Dancing in the Park street dance on Friday, with the main events and entertainment throughout the day on Saturday. Read more .


Paper Shredding Program
Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Norman Smith Service Center, 3001 W. 124th Ave. Bring confidential papers for safe and secure destruction. Read more.

Dog Daze at The Bay
Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019. It's a day gone to the dogs! Bring your dog down to the Bay for a day of excitement just for dogs.  Fido can jump and play in the summer heat, while coolin' off with a dip in the pool.  Pre-register to guarantee your spot and time. 


Recreation Pass Sale 
Beginning Sept. 1, 2019 new members that purchase an All-Facility Pass during the month of September will receive 10% off for a year! Use your discounted pass at Paul Derda Recreation Center, Broomfield Community Center and The Bay (2020). Passes can be purchased online or at the front counter of the rec center. 

Rec Center/Senior Center Maintenance Closure
The Paul Derda Recreation Center will be closed Aug. 19-25, 2019, for annual maintenance. This includes the pool. The Senior Center will be closed Aug. 26-31. The Broomfield Community Center remains closed during reconstruction.

Broomfield Library Experience Pass
With your Broomfield Library card, you can get an Experience Pass which provides free access to explore cultural and recreational institutions in the Front Range including museums, the Denver Zoo, Botanic Gardens, and more. Admission is free! Read more
