Broomfield Days 
Festivities begin on Friday, September 14, 2018 with a golf  tournament, Bingo games,  a nd new this year, a street dance! Saturday, September 15, is the main event with activities and entertainment throughout the day including a 5K  race, clown contest, parade, trade fair, craft festival, food booths, three stages of entertainment, and great community spirit.  Read more...

One Book, One Broomfield
This city-wide reading and discussion program encourages citizens to read the same book at the same time to create a shared sense of community through literature. This year's selection is "Lucky Boy" by Shanthi Sekaran; a gripping tale of two mothers and two very different pictures of immigration. Get your free tickets to the author talk on November 3 and view other upcoming events.

Broomfield Community Center Reconstruction
Broomfield is getting a NEW Community Center! Construction is scheduled to start September 2018. Broomfield Community Center will be closed  through 2020.  The Senior Center side will be closed  August 27 - September 16  and will tentatively reopen the week of  September 17 .   Please Note: Senior Services will remain open during construction of the Community Center.

Mark your calendar for the Third Annual  BrewHaHa at Arista Park on Arista Place on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 from noon to 5 p.m. The festival will have two bands, food trucks, brews from Broomfield Breweries, and yard games. Read more... 

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day
By Appointment Only! Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 from 9 a.m.  to noon. Environmental Services provides this program for Broomfield residents only to dispose of household hazardous waste and  electronic waste FREE of charge. Reservations for this event can be made starting August 27 by calling 303.438.6334.

Living in Balance 
Friday, Oct. 10, 2018 at the Senior Services Center, 280 Spader Way. The Living in Balance Resource Fair is an event addressing all aspects of successful aging. The day includes a vendor fair of local providers for information and resources and workshops focusing on nutrition, mental and physical wellness, future planning, continued creativity, and lifelong learning. 

Broomfield's Police Department has Talent!
Have you heard about the Lip Sync Battle? It's taking the nation by storm. Videos from California's highway patrol to Seattle's Police Dept on the Space Needle were some favorites! With encouragement from the community, the Broomfield's Police Department decided to do a Lip Sync video of their own.  View video...
