City Council Community Meeting Presentation on DNV-GL Risk Assessment
View the video of the Community Meeting and DNV-GL presentation here .  The Community Meeting was held on Friday, March 22, 2019, from 5-6:30 p.m.

Previously, Council held a study session on February 19, 2019, to discuss the DNV-GL Risk Assessment of Extraction's oil and gas development in Broomfield and the memo for that meeting can be viewed here.  At that  meeting Council requested that DNV-GL address numerous questions in writing.  The questions and written responses from DNV-GL can be viewed here

Nordstrom 2-4 Well Plug and Abandonment
The public notice regarding the plugging and abandoning of the Nordstrom 2-4 well can be viewed here. This work is expected to begin the week of April 1, 2019.

Schedule of Extraction Oil and Gas Legacy Well Plugging and Abandoning
Extraction Oil and Gas is obligated under the Operator Agreement with Broomfield to plug and abandon 42 older wells, most of which are in Broomfield.  Extraction will do this over the next two years.  
The names of the wells to be plugged and abandoned and the time frame for plugging and abandoning these wells in accordance with State law is linked  here, and a map of those wells can be viewed  here.
