Notice of Spud for 6 wells on the Northwest B Pad
On 9/4/2019, Broomfield received the 48-hour Notice of Spud for 6 wells (see list below) on the Northwest B Pad. All 6 of these wells have been permitted by COGCC (i.e. the Form 2s have been approved). There are a total of 8 wells planned for the Northwest B Pad; however, the approval of 2 wells by COGCC is still pending.

Extraction Demand Letter: Odor Complaints and NeoFlo Drilling Mud
The City and County of Broomfield sent Extraction a demand letter on Sept. 5, 2019, regarding odor complaints and NeoFlo drilling mud. Read the full letter here.

Work Completed at 10 Wells at Interchange B Pad
Extraction Oil and Gas has completed the hydraulic fracturing, coiled tubing mill out, and production tubing installation for 10 wells at the Interchange B Pad. The final step of the completions phase of operations for these 10 wells is the flowback of hydraulic fracturing fluids in preparation for putting these wells into production. Per the Operator Agreement, Extraction is required to use pipelines for the flowback fluids to the maximum extent feasible. Presently, the pipeline is scheduled for completion in late September or early October of 2019. Read the newsflash here.
