B'nai Mitzvah: Celia & Eli Cohen
October 2
Adam Cohen and Kathy Bigelow are pleased to announce that their twin children Ceila and Eli Cohen will be called to the Torah as B'nai Mitzvah during the morning service on October 2, 2021. Eli and Celia are seventh graders at Trailridge Middle School and are active in Kesher at B'nai Jehudah Religious School. Celia is active in gymnastics, enjoys painting, and plays the ukulele. Eli enjoys playing tennis, riding his bike, and likes focusing on his math skills at school. For their Mitzvah Project, Eli and Celia will fundraise to provide supplies for Sunflower House, a shelter that supports and advocates for children who have been abused or neglected.

Join Celia, Eli and their family in person (register here) or virtually on Facebook Live or Vimeo.
Introducing New B'nai Mitzvah Coordinator!
We are excited to officially welcome Michelle Adler-Wexler to our professional team as a part time B’nai Mitzvah Coordinator! In this new role, Michelle will be the go-to person for all B’nai Mitzvah questions and concerns. She will be in direct communication with our families and help guide everyone throughout the process. We are blessed to have a very full B’nai Mitzvah calendar with so many participating in this step along their journey and we strive to make the process as smooth as possible.

A few words from Michelle...
I am so excited to take on the role of B’nai Mitzvah Coordinator. I am a third-generation congregant who grew up in the synagogue. B'nai Jehudah has a special place in my heart and feels like home. My grandfather was the Executive Director of B’nai Jehudah for many years and literally wrote a history book about the temple. My step-mom Jeannie Adler served as Executive Director until her retirement in 2019.

I am looking forward to working with all of our families in the process of becoming a B'nai Mitzvah. As a parent of a child who just a few short years ago had their Bat Mitzvah, I know this can feel stressful and overwhelming at times, but I promise to be there for you and your family and assist you during this special time.
