Bat Mitzvah: Julia Luetje
April 10
Susan Bernstein and Chuck Luetje are pleased to announce the Bat Mitzvah of their daughter, Julia Helena Luetje, will take place during the Saturday morning Shabbat service on April 10, 2021, beginning at 10:30 a.m. An eighth grader at The Barstow School, Julia enjoys competitive gymnastics, art, baking and traveling. Julia is active in Kesher, and she used part of her prize winnings from The Storm Sleeper (a device she developed to manage stress and anxiety) to create a Donor Advised Fund through the Jewish Community Foundation. The fund supports children’s hospitals, the Autism community, and pet rescues. For her Mitzvah Project, Julia is collecting arts and crafts supplies to donate to Children’s Mercy.

You won't want to miss the latest installation of A Moment in our History, adapted by 150th Committee Chairs, Dan and Jennie Stolper!

Saying Farewell to the Nemitoffs

It's hard to share a personal message when we can't be together. However, thanks to our incredible Transition Committee, there are now 2 ways to share a meaningful goodbye message with the Nemitoffs:
  1. Tribute video: Watch Max and Aden to learn how you can contribute to Rabbi and Leslie Nemitoff's farewell video! Please submit your video by May 1.
  2. Written tributes: Write a note to Rabbi and Leslie and place it in the box in the vestibule at B'nai Jehudah. The vestibule is accessible during business hours.
