B2B Matchmaking at AFloat Summit 2023
Offshore wind is providing opportunities for Maine businesses in advanced manufacturing, composites, boat building, marine logistics, maritime, and more. These opportunities exist in both fixed wind farms being developed now off the coast of Southern Massachusetts and floating wind farms that are being planned for development in the Gulf of Maine.

Maine International Trade Center (MITC) and Governor’s Energy Office (GEO) invite Maine businesses to meet international companies and representatives during B2B matchmaking in conjunction with AFloat 2023 on September 26-27 in Portland, ME.
MITC and GEO have partnered with Innovation Norway and the United Kingdom Department of Business and Trade. Maine and international businesses will be classified and matched in advance of the conference based on their offshore wind taxonomy, product, and services. B2B meetings will occur during the lunch hour on both days of the conference.

For SBA-eligible Maine companies, the $1,500 fee for this matchmaking service will be covered by STEP grant funds.
