THE TALENT GALLERY
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM YEARBOOK CLUB
Hi, my name is Emily Tang, and I am thirteen years old. I'm currently a rising 8th grader in the TJ prep course and am a part of the yearbook club. I had an idea of creating a talent gallery for the yearbook, so I decided to act upon it. This is the Talent Gallery, a place where people can submit various talents, such as a video of dancing, or a picture of a graphic design. You have an unlimited amount of entries, and can submit anything you consider a talent. It can be something unique, like playing an instrument or juggling, or something else, like artwork, singing, baking, etc. Please remember when you submit your talent, you must include your first and last name, age, grade, the program you're in at Best Academy, and if possible, a brief description. If you are sending a video please make sure to include a picture of a screenshot so that we can include it in the yearbook. Also please note that the talents you submit will be presented in the talent gallery powerpoint that everyone will be able to see. Click below to see the Talent Gallery. Turn in the submissions by emailing to emilytang273@gmail.com, and contact me for more information.

Please take a look at the Pet Page Poster for more information, then fill out the Pet Page form to submit your pet picture.
Have a good day :)

STUDENT CORNER
We take your requests!
Last week, I asked you all to watch and reflect on two very relevant videos to our lives today. If you didn't get a chance to watch these videos, I've included them again down below. I highly recommend giving them a watch! It's our responsibility as citizens and as members of a society to educate ourselves about what is going on in the world and how we can help make things better. After all, knowledge is power!
CORONA VIRUS: EXPLAINED
BLACK LIVES MATTER: EXPLAINED
This week's student corner is more of a student highlight: Here are the 3rd grade Orioles' life science projects :) Don't they look terrific?
If you'd like to get featured in next week's newsletter, submit a piece of classwork or homework you've done this summer that you're proud of.
