Blue Phoenix Studios takes flight in Whitby
Congratulations to Blue Phoenix Studios in the opening of their studio at 10 Sunray St., Unit 13, in Whitby.

Blue Phoenix Studios is a partnership between Tony Balmforth, Pascal Zois, Abby Locke and Kai Ajayi and is Durham Region’s new multi-purpose space for photographers, film makers, talk shows, dancers and other creative artists.

Durham Youth Entrepreneurial Program
Fifteen (15) PAID $$$ positions are now open to unemployed and out of school youth to
be involved in a Government Sponsored Skills Link Entrepreneurial Program in the
Durham area
  • Particularly youth from culturally- different backgrounds who want to improve knowledge and skills in starting up and managing their own business
  • A five (5) months in-take. (Mon-Fri) Skills Link Youth Entrepreneurial Program
  • Compensation is based on minimum wage

Eligible participants must be:
  • Canadian citizens, permanent residents or persons on whom refugee protection has been granted
  • Age 18-30, Unemployed and Out-of-School, with sound interest and experience, in being self employed.
  • Not receiving Employment Insurance (EI) Benefits
