First Circuit Protects Life in LA!
Babies Protected Once Again!
Greetings!

Good news! Our pro-life laws protecting babies from abortion are BACK IN EFFECT!!

On Friday, the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeals granted Attorney General Jeff Landry's request for suspensive appeal, which allows enforcement of our laws pending further legal appeals. To support the AG's request, we worked with 84 pro-life legislators in the state to submit an amicus brief to the court. Here's one quote from the brief appealing the injunction:

"Since abortions continue to be performed because of the injunction against the enforcement of the validly passed laws of this State, unborn children are dying."

We expect further court hearings, which could include possible delays, BUT, unborn babies in Louisiana are protected for now. Please continue to pray for the dissolution of these baseless legal challenges.
As we continue pro-life efforts in Louisiana, I'm reminded of my friends in Kansas as they work to pass the Value Them Both Amendment (Kansas Amendment 2), which is similar to our 2020 Love Life Amendment ensuring no right to abortion can be found in the state's constitution.

This vote is very important as its the first public vote on abortion since Roe v. Wade was overturned. If you have friends or family in Kansas, encourage them to vote YES tomorrow!

Encourage Your Group or Church to Buy Tickets to LIFEMARK
Earlier this summer, the Kendrick Brothers and Kirk Cameron Entertainment announced the release of their new feature film, LIFEMARK, based on Louisiana Right to Life's documentary I Lived on Parker Avenue. The movie will be released in theaters on September 9th.

It is really important for pro-lifers to buy tickets and encourage friends and family to attend! If the movie does well on September 9th, theaters will show the film for a longer duration. Buy tickets here!
Our College Efforts Highlighted in Advocate!
The Advocate recently elaborated on the work of pro-life groups on college campuses and interviewed some of Louisiana Right to Life's staff. Our college director, Kandace Landreneau, explained that she serves as the state's college resource person, and loves working with clubs citing their bravery.

She says,"Tulane is my favorite place to go. Students who are pro-life there are really pro-life. They can be putting themselves up for ridicule there. There is a lot of heat and opposition at Tulane. The pro-life students there are the bravest and most passionate students I’ve ever seen.”

Thanks for your support of our life-saving missions! Read the full article here.
Do you need a pro-life speaker for your school, church or group? Our college and youth team is available to educate your group free of charge! With misinformation circulating, it's more important than ever for young people to know the facts.
Two of our youth programs directors, Jacob Tonglet & Abby Rose Nichols, traveled to Arkansas this weekend to help train students at Camp Joshua. Camp Joshua is Arkansas's version of our youth initiative, Pulse. Learn about our youth efforts below.
There has been much debate on social media, and among people across the country, about abortion. In Louisiana, however, there is no reason to be confused about Louisiana law after Roe v. Wade.

Can you help us keep our billboards up across the state and reach thousands with the truth about abortion and its impact on women? We have billboards statewide, and are working to display more as we fundraise for this effort.
