ABB Announces New ACH580 Family of HVAC Drives
The ACH580 is the newest release of ABB’s “all-compatible” drive platform. With all essential features built-in,
drive selection, commissioning, operation and maintenance
are greatly
simplified
.
Once users have learned one drive, they will be able to quickly use others, including ultra-low harmonic and larger drives, saving effort, training costs, energy and money with each installation.
The new ACH580 drives connect seamlessly with existing building automation and control systems, and are designed to naturally integrate with ABB Ability™ monitoring services – ABB’s unified, cross-industry, digital offering, which provides real-time data about drive status and performance from any location.
This, along with an intuitive control panel, makes it easy to monitor activity and anticipate operational issues and maintenance needs, helping operators recognize potential issues in advance to avoid unplanned and costly downtime.
