The Annual Dinner is a celebration honoring students and their achievements throughout the season. The dinner is open to all students who have attended at least 1 tournament this school year.

FREE for all BAUDL students

Students will learn from some of the best urban debate instructors in the country during JBDI. Debate camp is a great way to build confidence & leadership, learn new skills, and get a jump start on the new year.

Charles Houston Bar Association

Prizes: $2,000 - $5,000
Essay Deadline: March 24
Oral Competition: March 31 in Oakland

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drum Major for Justice Advocacy Competition strives to introduce high school students of color to oral and written advocacy . The local competition consists of an essay writing contest & an oral competition and is open to high school juniors and seniors. Winners will advance to a Regional Competition, and then a National Competition in New Orleans for a chance at scholarship prizes.

Open to high school seniors who will graduate in Spring 2018.

The Kaiser Permanente African American Professional Association (KPAAPA) awards scholarships to students who demonstrate academic achievement, commitment to community service, and leadership potential. There are a few scholarships available this year, and each one has it's own requirements.
