Athlete Leadership Team

The Athlete Leadership Position is a 10 month, paid, part-time position. Our Athlete Leaders are coaches - key to our success as they deliver BAWSI's award winning BAWSI Girls and BAWSI Rollers programs.

It’s perfect for people just starting out, preparing for grad school, finishing undergraduate coursework, or in a career transition. We promise it will be a year to remember! 

Up2Us Specialist - Fund Development & Operations

The Fund Development & Operations Specialist position is a 12 month, paid, full-time role through Up2Us Sports under the AmeriCorps VISTA national service program. In this role, you’ll support girls in gaining access to sports while growing your fund development skills, e.g., grant research & writing, event planning, donor stewardship and more general business skills.

This is a great opportunity for sports-loving candidates who want to gain hands-on experience with the business side of the nonprofit sector.

Up2Us Coach - BAWSI Leadership Accelerator

The Up2Us Coach is a 10 month, paid, full-time service opportunity under the AmeriCorps national service program. This new role will help build out BAWSI community-centric sports and leadership programing in East San Jose for girls in elementary through high school. You'll work with other athletes, deliver BAWSI programs, and participate in personal and professional development sessions.

This is a great opportunity for athletes coming out of college, transitioning careers, or preparing for graduate school.
