"The Season" Is Upon Us...almost!
About this time each year you can begin to sense "the season" waking up, getting ready to rock! We're talking the Cape summer/tourist season, not just Spring, etc.!

I think its going to be a busy, exciting, season this year, especially in contrast to last year when we were all locked down due to the Massachusetts Governor ruling that nearly all businesses had to close...brutal!

Well, enough is enough, right? It's almost time to get out and enjoy the sun, the beach, lobster rolls, ice cream, Cape Cod baseball, the 4th of July, a rum punch, fireworks and all the cool Cape stuff...and of course ART! It will be great to see people back in the gallery, to once again talk face-to-face with art lovers...yeah, "the season" is just about upon us...I can't wait! :-)

Have a great month!

UPDATE...
Artist Steve Lyons Home After Experimental Treatment
Last month we reported some sad news from the Steve Lyons Gallery camp, but this month we have some good news as Steve has returned home to Chatham after undergoing experimental treatment for brain cancer in California.
Friends and family raised over $40,000 to cover the cost of an Angel Medflight charter to bring Lyons home after he underwent treatment for brain cancer at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center. While recovering, Lyons contracted COVID-19, as did his longtime partner Peter Demers, who succumbed to the virus. The money, raised through a Go Fund Me campaign, will also cover the cost of needed medical equipment and care.

“Bobby Baker is one of New England’s best coastal photographers. His artistry really shines as he uses the limitations of black and white photography to shoot shadow and light with lasting emotional resonance.”
