As I am sure you know The Bucksport Bay Area Chamber of Commerce has been leasing the Verona Grange building at 54 Main Street in Bucksport, right next door to our old home. What you may not know is that since entering into said lease the Verona Grange has dissolved and that we have further entered into a purchase
and sale agreement with the Maine State Grange to purchase the building.

The Bucksport YMCA is for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. You can find YMCA staff and the fitness center at 66 Bridge Street, located in the Jewett School in Bucksport. Just in the last 2 years Nick Tymoczko, the recreation Operations Director, has really brought a lot of new energy to our community. Always looking for ways to meaningfully engage and meet the needs of the community, the Bucksport YMCA has made many significant contributions! We all need community support to be successful so we encourage you to dedicate some time to coaching, chaperoning a dance or any other needs that need to be filled to make this the best community to live, work and play in!

If you have interest in leading a class or want to learn more about membership through the Y give their office a call at 207.469.3518 or stop by to find out more! Like the Bucksport Recreation Facebook page or visit their website www.defymca.org/bucksport

From director Todd Douglas Miller (Dinosaur 13) comes a cinematic event fifty years in the making. Crafted from a newly discovered trove of 65mm footage, and more than 11,000 hours of uncatalogued audio recordings, Apollo 11 takes us straight to the hear t of NASA's most celebrated mission-the one that first put men on the moon, and forever made Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin into household names. Immersed in the perspectives of the astronauts, the team in Mission Control, and the millions of spectators on the ground, we vividly experience those momentous days and hours in 1969 when humankind took a giant leap into the future.

Wine Tasting at BookStacks
Saturday, March 23
4 to 6 p.m.

I know, I know. It won't really be Spring for another month or so, but we can pretend. So let's get together and taste seven really nice wines, maybe buy a bottle or two, and at least enjoy the idea of Spring, and green grass and tulips. Birds. Trees that have leaves. Our good friend Dan Tarr, of Easterly Wine, will return to BookStacks to pour the flights and talk about the wines. Denise #1 will be here, too, with her delightful tidbits to pair with the wine. It ought to be just super.

AS ALWAYS, IT'S 10% OFF
