A Special Deal for Broadway Avenue Businesses!

The 5th edition of Capitol Hill's Neighborhood Map is coming soon! The map is distributed to hundreds of locations throughout the city reaching residents, visitors and employees. The map provides brand distinction to each individual business by using your logo and a photo. Knotis is offering a 20% ($100 off) discount to businesses located within the Broadway BIA!

The Broadway BIA has a contract with Recology StreetScapes to sweep the sidewalks, remove graffiti,  bio -hazards and posters 7 days a week.

Capitol Hill Garage Sale Day

CapitolHillSeattle.com is again working with the  Cal Anderson Park Alliance to make Garage Sale Day a great event to benefit CAPA and its efforts to activate Cal Anderson Park year-round. And in 2017, Capitol Hill Eco District has joined to lead the effort! 

The goal of the Capitol Hill Community Garage Sale is to give folks a day to rally around to get rid of some junk, do some recycling and meet neighbors.

Please consider rallying around the date for your own sale anywhere on the Hill -- or sign up for a $10 community space to join us in CAL ANDERSON PARK! REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS AUGUST 21st!

Incredible Feast 2017!

Join your Seattle Neighborhood Farmers Markets from 5-8pm on Sunday October 1, 2017 at our extremely popular annual fundraiser featuring over fifteen of Seattle's best and most innovative chefs, paired with market farmers to create an incredible feast of unique and delicious bites, showcasing fresh farm ingredients. There are a number of public and private resources in our neighborhood that can provide treatment, shelter, and meals to those in need.   We've compiled them into a downloadable/printable document here. Please share this list with your neighbors, friends, and co-workers.

If you see someone in non-emergency distress, the  Capitol Hill Metropolitan Improvement District Outreach (MID) team operates from 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. Call  (206) 973-1835.

See litter, illegal dumping, graffiti or sharps? Download the Find it Fix it app .
This app is a new platform to report a variety of issues to the City of Seattle. It is available for  Android  and  iOS .

Need to report a crime? The Seattle Police Department is here to help:
  • Emergencies: If you have just seen or experienced a crime, or one is in progress, call 9-1-1 immediately.
  • Non-emergencies: If the crime happened a while ago and there is no direct danger to you or another person, please call the police non-emergency line at  (206) 625-5011 or submit a report online.
  • You can also call the non-emergency line and ask for a welfare check if you see someone who needs help
  • Follow SPD Tweets by Beat to receive updates in your "beat."
Smell smoke or need to report a fire?
The mission of the Seattle Fire Department is to save lives and protect property:
  • To report a fire, smoke, or other emergency, call 9-1-1 immediately. 
  • For non-emergencies and general SFD inquiries call (206) 386-1400.
