March is Fraud Prevention Month in Canada

Fraud prevention awareness is increasingly important for older adults who may be vulnerable if pressed by hard-sell tactics or feel embarrassed when they realize they’ve been duped by a scammer. An estimated 12% of Canadians over age 60 fall prey to fraudsters and their schemes. Read more

Spread the Love Across BC in February
February was a busy month for many CRNs and we noticed one common theme: connections. Our CRN teams, partners and volunteers helped to bring community members together through Valentine’s greetings, meals, Indigenous teachings by Elders and an intergenerational swim day.
