Take a Winter Road Trip Along Scenic Highway 7
Highway 7 (the Lougheed Highway) from Vancouver to Hope is a slower alternative to Highway 1, but a scenic one. It passes through rolling foothills and along winding rivers. Travelling this route in the winter can mean quieter roads, escaping the winter chill with a hot springs dip, and maybe even seeing a frozen waterfall.
Side trips from Vancouver Offer Plenty To Do in the Winter

First Time RVing In Winter – What To Know About Renting An RV
This winter we’re going to rent an RV from CanaDream and take a short trip. In order to feel better prepared for the RV experience, I posed some questions to the representative at CanaDream, who was extremely helpful. Thank You for Camping in British Columbia in this Year of COVID
The Camping and RVing BC Coalition partners want to thank you for trusting us with your health and safety by camping at our BC provincial parks, private RV parks and campgrounds, government recreation sites and Parks Canada parks during the summer and fall 2020. Our campgrounds welcomed new faces, many first-timers, and were happy to see the return of familiar faces. We look forward to hosting you next camping season in 2021 and of course looking after some of you over the winter. Joss Penny, Chair, Camping and RVing BC Coalition.
