2022-23 Championship Host Sites

Due to the variances in spring break dates across BC and Yukon in 2023, the BC Hockey Championship dates approved by the Minor Committee are:

  • Integrated Tier 1-4: March 19-22, 2023 with a travel date of March 18, 2023

  • Female: March 23-26, 2023 with a travel date of March 22, 2023

  • U21: March 23-26, 2023 with a travel date of March 22, 2023
The U21 Championship is scheduled to be hosted by Vancouver Island

The deadline for Minor Hockey Associations to submit an application to host a Championship is August 1, 2022. Applications can be sent to Keegan Goodrich ([email protected]) at the BC Hockey office. 
 
Please note that the above process does not apply for the District Associations that utilize a review process to recommend an Association to host a Championship.

If there are no bids to host a championship in a specific category/division from the above districts, an open bid process would occur for any Associations to submit a bid to host any open championship.

BC Hockey Championship venues in all divisions shall be decided by the championship committee based in part upon recommendations made by the minor committee.
