Destination BC's Designing Remarkable Experiences Workshops
How can you turn a tourism product into a remarkable experience for travellers in BC? Destination BC and Regional DMOs are once again holding two-day workshops to help tourism businesses across the province do just that!

The workshops will explore experiential tourism concepts and best practices, along with traveller data, hands-on activities and group input to help participants enhance existing product offerings or develop entirely ones.

Local tourism businesses are encouraged to register early for the upcoming January and February 2020 workshops:

  • Kelowna, January 28-29
  • Mackenzie, February 8-9
  • Port Hardy, February 20-21

Important changes to Informed Dining program
The B.C. government has decided to discontinue its Informed Dining program for commercial foodservice businesses, which was introduced in 2012 as a way for participating establishments to provide diners with nutritional information.
