From The Editors August 11th, 2022

In this edition of British Columbia Golf's newsletter you can read about the big win by Port Coquitlam's Yeji Kwon as she brought home the hardware from the Canadian Junior & Juvenile Girls Championships in Ottawa.

Internationally, Nanoose Bay's Shelly Stouffer became the first from BC to win a USGA National title as she won the U.S. Senior Women's Amateur.

We bring you the announcement of this year's Eddie Hogan Cup Junior Boys Team as they head down to Portland for the annual competition which BC had not been able to take part in over the last couple of years due to Covid restritctions.

We also have the latest version of Brad Ziemer's BC Golf notes. Brad leads off this week's notes with an interview with longtime Marine Drive GC Director of Golf, Tim Tait, who has announced his retirement later this year following 31 years in the position at one of the truly venerable golf clubs in the country.

In addition, Brad has a preview of the upcoming Vancouver Open where Vancouver's Ilirian Zalli will be looking to put a lock on the tour's OOM merit as he goes for his 5th win of the season.
