BCA News

Nov. 6, 2026

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God –

not by works, so that no one can boast.

For we are God’s handiwork,

created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in

advance for us to do.

Book Blast Returns to BCA

Nov. 9 - 21

We're excited to bring Book Blast to our school Nov. 9, with a kick-off assembly at 2:30 p.m. in the gym.

Our school is once again partnering with Books Are Fun and the Book Blast program. This program helps every student build their own home library and get excited about reading by getting brand-new, age-appropriate books into every student's hands.

What makes it different:

Every student receives books they'll love and want to read

100% of all contributions go directly to books

The book list is expertly curated for each grade level

How it Works:

Your student will bring home a Treasure Map. This is their way to participate, earn books, and unlock fun prizes along the way.

This year's theme is "Fun at the Carnival" - Dressing up in red and white is encouraged for the day of the Book Blast Kick-Off assembly on Nov. 9.

Sneak peak!

Look for more details soon so your student can join the fun.

In the meantime, you can learn more here!

We're looking forward to a great kickoff on Nov. 9!

Ice Cream Truck Visit

Nov. 23

On Nov. 23, PTL volunteers will once again monitor the students in the cafeteria to allow teachers to enjoy their lunch in the library conference room. During lunch, students will be able to visit the truck in the front parking lot to purchase their ice cream.

Be sure that you and your child choose the treat they will order, along with sending in correct amount of cash, prior to the day of the truck visit. This greatly helps our volunteers who help the students place their orders and maintain an orderly line.

We appreciate Sweet Treats for bringing their delicious ice cream our way!

For details on pricing and cash payment, please see the ORDER FORM .
